Choose and brief them
Every member you see has been in business 18 months or more, had three recent jobs field-reviewed by us, and signed our Code of Conduct. Compare profiles and brief the one that fits.

Get the guarantee
Work done with approved Dulux, Resene or Wattyl products is covered by the Master Painters 5-Year Guarantee from practical completion. That is the mark, in writing.

Master Painters New Zealand Association Inc. is the only recognised trade organisation for the Painting and Decorating Industry in NZ. Founded in 1913 and now over 110 years old, we represent painting and decorating businesses across 13 regions. Our mission is to be the voice of the industry: promoting professional and ethical practice, ensuring trade standards through training and education, and connecting quality painters with customers who deserve peace of mind.

The 5-Year Guarantee
The mark you can hold them to.
Engage a Master Painters member using approved Dulux, Resene or Wattyl products and your workmanship is covered for five years from practical completion, for necessary repairs or remedial work. Options exist for higher-value residential, low-rise commercial, churches and schools. It is the difference between hoping a job lasts and knowing it is backed.
